Pasta with a Mushroom Cream Sauce

a relatively simple but delicious tasting dish!

Serves:

Ingredients


  • 1 teaspoon garlic
  • cooking oil
  • 1 large brown onion
  • 1/2 cup sliced field mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup sliced champignons
  • 1/2 cup vegetable stock
  • 1/4 cup of cream
  • fettucine

 

 

Instructions

For the pasta

  • Simply cook the pasta in salted boiling water and drain. This can be done while making the sauce

For the sauce

  • Add the oil to a pan and fry off the garlic and onions until soft
  • Add all the mushrooms into the pan and mix
  • Pour in the vegetable stock and the cream and stir
  • Simmer until the sauce is reduced and creamy

To serve

  • Add the drained cooked pasta into the sauce and mix thoroughly
  • Serve in a plate
