Cherry Chocolate Ice Cream

This tasty treat is a perfect dessert for dinners, parties or just for a snack.

The good thing about this icecream is that it can be kept for up to 3 months in the freezer3wesd

Serves:
4
Ingredients
  • 100g broken up plain chocolate
  • 15mL of milk
  • 50g Icing sugar
  • 30mL Cherry Jam (Black Cherry jam preferably)
  • 175g chilled evaporated milk
  • Cherries (For decoration)
Instructions
  1. Melt chocolate and milk in a heatproof bowl over boiling water
  2. Put evaporated milk into a bowl and whisk till it forms soft peaks
  3. Sift in icing sugar and whisk
  4. Stir in jam and melted chocolate mixture
  5. Transfer into a container and freeze till firm
  6. Spoon into glasses and decorate with cherries
  7. Serve cold
