Ingredients
- 125g Butter
- 1/2 cup caster sugar
- 1/4 tsp vanilla essence
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups self raising flour
- 1/2 cup milk
Vanilla Icing
- 1 cup icing sugar
- 15g butter
- 1/4 tsp vanilla essence
- 1-2 spoon hot water
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180C
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy
- Add eggs one at a time
- Add vanilla essence
- Fold flour gently into mixture. Alternate with milk.
- Pour mixture into pre-grease 10x20cm loaf tin
- Bung into oven and bake for 40-45mins
Vanilla Icing:
- Beat all ingredients until smooth
- Spread over cooled cake
